LCSA Membership Policy

Effective March 1, 2022

Membership year coincides with calendar year.

 

Dues are $125 per year. Dues MUST be paid prior to January 1st of each membership year. A grace period from January 1st to January 31 of each membership year shall be available to current members to renew their membership. A $25 late fee will be assessed to members renewing memberships during this grace period. NO membership renewals will be accepted after January 31. Members who fail to renew their membership by January 31st shall lose all membership privileges and must reapply for membership, following the same procedure as a new member applicant, including payment of the initiation fee. Members who fail to renew their membership by January 31, but rejoin within one year following lapse of membership, must pay $225 to rejoin, but are not required to attend a regular monthly membership meeting. New members must pay $100 initiation fee upon acceptance as a member of LCSA. In addition they must pay pro-rated dues for the current membership year, plus a $5 key card fee. 

 

Pro-rated dues are as follows: 

Feb. – Mar. - $125

April – May - $105

Jun – July - $85

Aug. – Sept. - $65

Oct. - $155 (includes following year’s dues)

Nov. - $140 (includes following year’s dues)

Dec. - $125 (includes following year’s dues)

          

NO new members will be accepted in the month of January.

The new member applicants must appear at a regular LCSA monthly meeting to become a member of LCSA. 

 

All membership applications must be received by the shooting club at least TWO weeks prior to the regular monthly meeting (3rd Tuesday of each month) to be considered for membership. NO applications will be accepted at meetings.

 

Applications will be held for 3 meetings then discarded if applicant does not attend. If still interested in membership a new application must be submitted. 

 

Initiation fees shall be waived for immediate family members (spouse and children of member) living in the same household, provided immediate family members join at the same time with new member. If a LCSA membership expires, both spouses will be treated as individual members and not as spousal members or couple and will be charged the full initiation fee at the time of renewal.

 

Junior memberships are available for a $5.00 fee. They must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. When they become 18 years of age they do not pay the $100 initiation fee.
